Yesenia (Jesi) Garcia, is a first-generation Latina multimedia artist, born and raised just outside of Chicago, IL. She loved drawing from a very early age which grew into a passion for creating art across a variety of mediums including acrylic painting, clay sculpting, candle making, and tattooing.

With over a decade of experience in tattooing, Jesi has developed a distinct black and grey style that blends bold linework with soft pepper shading techniques resulting in dynamic line weights and delicate detailing.

In her free time she loves archery and tending to her mini farm consisting of her two cats and four rabbits.

Behind the art.

The Cursed Heart character is a symbol of amor y fuerza. It has experienced, survived, and expanded. It wears its scars with pride, wrapped in protective thorns and crowned with resilient horns, carrying the beauty of pain transmuted into growth. Its watchful third eye speaks to intuition and awareness. The Cursed Heart embodies resilience, emotional depth, and the enduring nature of love.
